Providing essential gear, clothing and toys to our foster families in Fairfax County
Did you know: Many foster parents receive about an hour’s notice before a child comes to live in their home and Sometimes, multiple children are placed into care in Fairfax County.

The Closet serves to equip foster parents with the basic gear and essentials to get them through those chaotic first few days or weeks, with an unexpected child added to their household. Some children will stay only a few days, some for much longer. Children often come to foster parents with nothing, not even clothing. Baby gear, especially, is a huge expense for foster parents when the child may stay only a short time.
